I really do not understand why all the pundits do not state the obvious
from exactly what Israel has said. That statement is "They have the oil but
we have the matches." And it clearly and openly refers to the Israeli threat
to nuke the oil fields if the West does not protect it.
This threat has been around since before Nixon decided to support Israel in
1973 during its war. I do not understand why people say they do not
understand the political hold of Israel on the US. As Dune said, the Spice
must flow. The oil must flow.
He who controls a thing owns a thing. If the oil fields can be destroyed and
the land made radioactive then Israel controls middle oil. And Israel openly
says if it goes down it will take oil with it.
I do not see why people pretend this promise does not exist.
These are all Dune series references. What do you think Herbert copied for
his stories? The oil must flow. The spice must flow. If the oil does not
flow all commerce ceases as if the spice did not flow.
I am not saying look to fiction or Herbert for fact, rather simply look to
the threat to bring down the world by stopping Mideast oil production as
Israel has stated it will do.
