To summarize Israel needs more land than it has.

The Case for a Larger Israel By David Naggar November 7, 2006
When I was an active litigator, I kept in mind what decent lawyers know: if
someone sues your client, it is generally advisable to sue back. With a
counter-suit in place, the dynamics of the negotiation changes. Each side may
be owed something, and advocates and peacemakers alike must take this into
account when proposing a settlement.
As of yet, Israel's advocates have not presented a credible counter-suit
against those who demand that Israel withdraw to its pre-1967 borders. No
one has effectively put forth a case that Israel, to be a self-sustaining
viable State, must have adequate territory, and that a self-sustaining
viable Israel not only serves the interests of peace, but also greatly
benefits humanity otherwise. A more balanced negotiation, and a more
enduring peace between Israel and her neighbors will arise from advancing
this case. Only by laying out this argument will Israel's full needs be
taken into account when the time comes to set regional borders.
The man has no concept of the geography of the land around Israel. There is
nothing any country would negotiate away to Israel. There nothing any
country could afford to negotiate away. The only regions that could add to
what Israel has are those which make surrounding countries possible.
Today, only Palestinian statelessness and Israel's security needs are
discussed. Israel's need to be viable has not been considered by the
international community since 1920, when the much larger original borders of
what was to become British Mandate Palestine -- a homeland for the Jews --
were agreed upon.
Obviously the Zionists thought the smaller borders were adequate else they
would have called off the entire Palestine project.
The international consensus solution, two States -- one Israeli and the
other Palestinian within the confines of Israel, Gaza and the West Bank --
is based on fatally flawed assumptions. Even if two such States could be
delineated by fiat, doing so would not produce a lasting peace. Neither
State would be viable. And with ever advancing technology, and ever more
powerful arsenals, it should be clear that failure to achieve true peace may
eventually lead to a much wider and more lethal war.
In 1948 a viable two state solution was proposed by the UN General Assembly
on condition that both sides agree to it. Of course it was for sovereignty
over the land only. It did not proposed to actually transfer ownership of
the land. As per Benny Morris and Tom Segev using Israeli records, the
Zionists rejected it and attacked the Palestinian partition leading to the
Nakbah and all the rest.
Therefore, the assumptions underlying these international proposals must be
revisited. The problem must be considered anew. A better approach to a
sustainable peace must be found and pursued.
That does not follow. That Jews chose to go to Israel fully aware of the
limitations does not require anyone else to do anything. They knew what it
would be like when they went there. They knew there would never be peace as
long as they were beyond adolescent idealism. You folks chose to live this
way. That does not obligate anyone to do anything to make a childish fantasy
into a reality.
World leaders must first be educated to the improbability of establishing a
successful Palestinian State in the limited space allocated to it. A RAND
Corporation study suggests that to have even a chance of success, such a
Palestinian State would require $33 billion of aid over 10 years, $50
billion of aid through 2019, and access to Israel's labor market. This
approach is fantasy. Pursuing it will endanger the lives of some, and ruin
the lives of many.
Zionists pursuit of there objectives has required many times more than that
over more years from just the US Government and with no end in sight. I do
not see why that is an objection.
World leaders must also be re-educated to the fact that Israel's primary
predicament -- its security risk -- is based on the long-standing
Arab/Muslim-Israeli conflict, not an Israel-Palestinian one. In other words,
the establishment of a tiny Palestinian State by itself won't end Israel's
security risk. Iranian and Hezbollah actions are helping to make this point
clear. Less appreciated is that the Muslim Brotherhood would come to power
in Egypt and Syria if there were fair elections held in those countries
today.
So what is this about a security risk? Every Zionist who has gone to Israel
has known that unless they were children or born there. If the latter than
can curse their parents. That European immigrants and their children live in
an insecure land is their fault alone. One might honestly say their
stupidity alone.
Finally, world leaders must then be persuaded to give weight to the fact
that security is not Israel's only predicament. Israel may have the nuclear
weapons capability to blow up many who hate it, but to exist as a healthy
nation -- to be a viable State -- Israel's security and well being,
including social, political, and economic needs must be unassailable.
Viability is hard to precisely define. It is a concept that is best examined
holistically because each State has its own unique circumstances.
So how is it that Israel insists upon being a Schnorrer nation and get
everything from other countries? Why does not Jewish genius solve these
problems? Is it overrated?
But let us go further. From 1938 there is the famous Hossbach memorandum in
which Hitler supposedly outlined what Germany required to autonomous in
resources. This is said to have guided the objectives of the wars in the
east. Is Israel no better than Hitler?
This is the real world where very NO country is self-sufficient in all of
its resources. It is a world where needed resources are obtained through
trade. Israel's problem is the Zionists wanted a land with no resources to
trade. That is what Zionists wanted and that is what they have. It is not up
to the world to harm others because Zionists are very stupid people.
In its pre-1967 borders, Israel's long-term viability is suspect because 1)
it is not self-reliant, needing to be annually subsidized by American
foreign aid and the monetary support of Diaspora Jews, 2) it does not have
adequate water or energy resources, needing to import both, 3) the quality
of life of its citizens is brutal below the surface, notwithstanding the
availability of material goods made possible by a subsidized economy.
So why do Jews go there? They freely choose to go there and then complain
about what they chose?
Israelis live in a pressure cooker imposed by its enemies; one that takes an
unhealthy emotional toll, 4) it does not have adequate territory to allow
for natural population growth, 5) it does not have permeable borders to
support economic activity. It faces unfriendly neighbors, and must bypass
its neighbors to openly trade, and, 6) it faces borders that cannot be
easily secured because it does not have adequate territory to properly
defend those borders.
Zionists chose to live in those conditions. It is like people choosing to
live on an island and then complaining about it being an island. If you
don't like it, leave. No one is forcing you to stay there.
As the only Jewish majority State, it is necessary that Israel be viable in
every sense. In the long-term, only an independently viable Israel can
peacefully and successfully survive in the Middle East. Moreover, it is in
humanity's interest that the Jewish people participate in the organization
of civilization as an equal partner. The one Jewish majority State must be
large enough to enable it to grow and thrive, not wither and decay. Because
Israel exists, Jews around the world can more freely and openly do their
part. It is astonishing that a population of less than 0.2% of the world's
population has produced 22% of all Nobel laureates. In the fields of
philanthropy, the humanities, science, the arts, medicine, internet
connectivity, global communications, coming water shortage issues, energy
issues, and more, a self sufficient, prosperous, and free Israel benefits
humanity.
Here the fool tries to give Israel credit for all Jews. Sorry but Einstein
was a Swiss citizen. Identifying people by their religion is old fashioned.
Israel on the other hand has been cutting down on every field that promotes
education and intellectual accomplishment. So if this is a serious case
dispersing Jews to advanced countries from backwater Israel is the way to
continued this benefit.
But I see a greater problem with this. All of this genius cannot solve
Israel's problems but must get other nations to solve Israel's problems.
Other nations much make it easy for Israel.
For the sake of Israelis and Arabs, lasting peace and the betterment of
humanity, the failed status quo must change. Israel must exist on a plot of
land large enough for it to be self-reliant. Palestinian Arabs must also
either have their own plot of land large enough to create a viable State, or
they must be afforded the opportunity to achieve full self-determination as
citizens of other Arab States.
And here the geography of the region which was freely chosen by the Zionists
rears its very ugly head. Even taking all of Lebanon, and western Syria and
western Iraq would not satisfy these grandiose requirements. Yet Hong Kong
with many times fewer resources a greater population and much less land is
an economic powerhouse that Jewish genius cannot seem to match.
Rather than the legal and social reforms to turn Israel into a Hong Kong
tens of millions of non-Jews must be displaced so Israel can have what it
wants on its Hossbach Memorandum terms. Its terms are a religious marxist
state contrary to any possible Hong Kong model.
The problem is those tens of millions
will be in addition to all the present day enemies who lawfully attack
Israel.
The facts are really quite simple. There is no possible way Israel can
expand its borders to include enough resources to survive absent the Hong
Kong model. In fact it is not willing to go so far as the Lebanon economic
model which Israel has smacked down twice.
If Israel were to get its cut down bible myth of from a minor river, not the
Nile, in Egypt to the Euphrates all it would get enough water but nothing
more. There are no particular natural resources in that region. So lets give
the expanse of land to Israel and expel everyone else. Then the world would
have to force all the Jews to go live there to get a maximum of 14 million
Jews to sparsely populate the land. This is not enough to defend it so
Israel would still be begging other nations to defend and support it.
The Zionist ideology was irrational to begin with. It was never possible as
a long term position. It could not have survived this long without outside
support. First they tried to get support from Stalin but that fell through
for unknown reasons. Then they got France in return for giving a pretext for
war with Egypt by attacking Egypt in 1956. Then some idiot US president
adopted marxist Israel and the US got the attack on the USS Liberty.
The plea is this article is for more land without natural resources, an
expelled native population, a multiplication of enemies and without Jews
being expelled from the nations of the world zero chance of significantly
increasing its population. It could not even make up for the non-Jewish
Israelis it would expel.
The reality of Israel is that for every Jew who emigrates to Israel the
average IQ of the Jews in the Diaspora increases. This may explain the
reputation of Jews outside of Israel as only the stupid ones go to Israel.
No rational Jew would choose to live in the most dangerous place in the
world for a Jew to live.
That the truth is taken as an insult by Jewish immigrants to Israel is their
problem. Jews outside of Israel are not stupid and are not headed there.
Every generation the lowest IQ Jews are culled from the Diaspora and go to
Israel.
Is dumb Jew a proper evaluation? For all the reasons in the original article
and my response Israel is a dead end for Jews. Without outside support the
standard of living in Israel would be no better than that of Lebanon without
considering the extra cost of the military it requires to exist sending the
standard of living even lower.
With that standard of living it would be hard to attract even Ethiopians to
Israel considering the racial discrimination they will face. No Jew from a
western country would choose it with 3rd world diseases rampant. Even now
with all the free billions the best Israel can do is equal Spain on
average as a standard of living. The difference is Spain has several
modern cities while Israel has one and a half.
And this is the best Israel can ever hope for. The more Jews who emigrate to
Israel the fewer there are to send money. Donors become beggers. If Israel
gets all the world's Jews all the donors become beggers but the IQ increase
may compensate for it.
The author makes an expectedly lame attempt at claiming the world owes
Zionists more than it has to make the Zionist dream cum nightmare come true.
At the heart of the article is the assumption that the adherents to the
Jewish religion have a right to something that no other religion has.
I have read assertions like this for decades and I have never fathomed the
minds that take it as a given. The closest I have seen to it was a Philipine
housekeeper who told me she was going to see the movie The Exorcist to study
it. The Zionist view is the rankest form of superstition found outside of
the third world. But without all the foreign charity Israel is a third world
country so this is not a contradiction. I expect people in backwards
countries to think this way.
And before I get a recitation of all three less than world class educational
institutions in Israel, for what that waste of time might be worth, let me
review one part of the political spectrum in Israel. This is the part that
cast spells and does incantations and lays on curses and holds seats in its
government. No western country has other than the occasional psychotic like
that but in Israel they are respected elected members of the government. It
is like the US have members of the snake-handlers party.
Politically Israel is barely above some of the more primitive African
countries. But we are all supposed to either understand or ignore.
Sorry but we have to do nothing. The west has Gay Pride marches for some odd
reason but in Israel the snake-handlers riot to prevent them. I do not
remember a single snake-handler riot in the US ever. And in Israel we mean
real riots as in senseless violence and attacking the police. And these are
the same folks in squatter towns in the West Bank who attack Palestinians
while protected from reprisal by Israel's army. Israel loves them and
protects them as they are a political force in the country.
If one excludes Israel's snake-handlers we still do not have a pretty
picture. The next level up are the Jews who were there before Israel was
founded. They were and still are totally opposed to the existence of Israel.
The Zionists gave them complete control over conversion, marriage and
divorce in return for the silence on their opposition. They enforce it with
a vengence.
This is nothing like the influence of fundamentalist groups in the US. If it
were divorce would be illegal and only total immersion baptisms permitted
and civil marriages would not exist. Civil marriage does not exist in
Israel. And the only lawful marriages of Jews are to other Jews and Muslims
to other Muslims and Christians to other Christians. There is no lawful
inter-religion marriage in Israel. Mixed religion marriages cannot happen in
Israel. People have to leave the country to get married. This is Dark Ages
stuff to the real world.
So here in fact we have the third world country pretending to be second
world country solely because of foreign charity while its population with
political power is significantly mired in backwater magic and mojo.
But it wants more foreign charity. The pretense that the world owes Israel
something. Which world? The best crying game it has is against Christian
Europe but it is not claiming more of Bavaria. It is claiming the land of
Muslims who treated Jews much better than Christians for all of its history
and never holocausted Jews. Excuse me but all those Nobel laureates must be
crypto-Jews because this is the stupidest claim anyone could ever make.
Of course it all goes back to the mythical biblical Israel and the mythical
Hebrews and the mythical Promised Land and the mythical expulsion by the
Romans and a dozen other myths that play well in theater but not in reality.
Even if it were all true who gives a damn? If folks want to cry over it that
is their business. There is no claim on others to fulfill their religious
fantasies.
If god gave it to them then let god give it back to them. They didn't need
any help but god the first time. There is no need for god this time.
But the problem is Zionism is an atheist, nationalist, marxist movment. It
has no religious basis whatsoever. As a marxist movement it does not deserve
to live and to show it is marxist 92% of the land in Israel is owned by the
government. As to atheist, the nation makes a big effort to claim it is
Jewish but there is not one assertion to Yahweh any place in the public
discourse. There is not even the US obligatory mention of god in political
speeches. As to nationalist, it is based upon the premise that Jews could
never assimilate into Christian Europe (although they have in the Christian
US) and this idea was adopted decades later by the Nazi party. Of course
they were natural allies.
