Egypt did not take over bibleland just to screw up bible believers. Egyptian rule of the region was nothing new for the new kingdom. Note the designation of a place called Jerusalem even though there is no evidence for the existence of Jerusalem before the 2nd c. BC. Certainly Alexander did not find Judea worth conquering. The simplest explanation is that Judea did not exist in his time.
