Why are they still there? There is no further justification for it. And we won months ago. That war is over. Are they being used by the CIA to develop new methods of interrogation? Ashcroft wants camps for dissidents I hate to be the first to break the news to you Mr. AG but this makes you a legitimate target of assassination by any American. Sorry but those of us who wasted a career in the DOD in the belief we were against crap like this are unlikely to accept this in our own backyard. A word to the wise is sufficient. And do not try to hide behind making a political speech. You made a government policy statement as you intended. Week of August 5th, 2002 -- Ashcroft has called for concentration camps for Americans whom he personally designates as enemy combatants. Are there that really that many? Or does he have a group in mind to lock up because he says so? I don't want to get the Ashcroft worried but anyone he locks up on his own word has an absolute moral right to take revenge on Ashcroft personally as his actions are without the color of law. Of course, the state's attorneys could simply charge him with kidnapping and unlawful detention. Every day there are several editorials in major newspapers asserting Iraq has the so-called weapons of mass destruction. I have looked for everywhere for some physical evidence of it and can find none. The writers never provide traceable sources for their claims. Why is it I cannot avoid the conclusion this is a coordinated propaganda campaign? The US is officially a dictatorship 6 Aug 2002. ABC news report datelined Norfolk, Virginia Hamdi is the second US citizen captured in Afghanistan by Afghanis and turned over to the US. He has been rotting in the Navy brig in Norfolk for months without charges or an attorney and no expectation of ever being released. A judge ordered the government to produce information about the man's interrogation. The government has refused. The constitution is dead. The executive branch is acting in clear violation of its constitutional powers and is denying a presumed innocent man his rights protected by the constitution. These are the actions of a dictatorship. Unmanned drone fires missile at an Afghan target It was a historic first of sorts in warfare. Earlier similar events would have had the drone smashing into the target. This Predator drone returned to be armed with another Hellfire missile. Military trivia aside there was one other important detail. It was operated by the CIA and the missile was fired with the authorization of the CIA. The rules of war clearly require combat personnel to wear clearly visible indication of being combatants. In most wars that is a uniform. In the ex-Yugoslav countries it was often a red bandanna tied to the left upper arm. The CIA wears no such insignia. The CIA personnel are thus subject to summary execution as murderers. As they are also spies there is no question of the application of the penalty. This is important in the matter of John Lindh who was accused of complicity in killing a CIA interrogator. Homicide bombers These days the English language appears malleable to political influence. For example, when the feminists got their ugly little heads all in a tizzy over the use of masculine terms like policeman other terms came into use. Bush prefers the use of homicide bombers over the term suicide bombers which has been in use for at least thirty years. The oddest thing I have seen is some people actually using his preferred term. Having a just war The attack upon Afghanistan was started to capture Osama bin Laden and eliminate his organization. After it started the objective became to overthrown the Taliban. A sub-theme for the war became to protect women's rights. The war against Afghanistan was planned three months before 9/11. Saving us from the right people Of the twenty 9/11 terrorists the government has told us 18 were from Saudi Arabia, one from Egypt and one from Morocco -- based upon the known false identification of nine of them. To protect us from a repetition of 9/11, the government will place restrictions on men from Syria, Iran, Iraq and Libya but not from Saudi Arabia, Egypt or Morocco. Are dirty bombs a danger? According to the US government They can be built by a high school dropout street punk. You can get weapons grade Uranium from any university. Why were only Jewish organizations reporting having been told of the attack before it occurred? Note this refers to specific communications rather than an intelligence agency being suspicious. Argentinian Jewish Congress says it was told by an unnamed nation's security forces about the attack two months before it occurred. An Israeli company received an Instant Message two hours before the attack. Short trading stocks There was trading in the two airlines used betting their stocks would fall. All trades have enough information to show who to pay off or who has to pay off. All trades except these of course. Laptops? April, 2002, Mueller, head of FBI says there was no paper trail and they did not even have laptops. (This means there is no evidence which would stand up in court.) June, 2002, Whistle-blower testifies before Congress her request for a warrant to search the contents of one of their laptops was denied because FBI headquarters changed it in manner which assured it would be denied.
